The Oz Experience is an adventure experience company first and a bus travel company second. We stop regularly to show you amazing places all along the way of your chosen route. When it comes to affordable bus travel you'll struggle to find better value for money than the Oz Experience. Our bus tours and passes are hugely popular with those that want to travel Australia, see it all and have the time of their life!

Whilst each pass is unique, they all visit some of the most incredible places the East Coast of Australia has to offer. All our Oz Experience bus passes and tours include lots of travel flexibility including hop-on, hop-off, 12 months to begin your travel and then 6 months to finish it - fitting perfectly if you are searching for other tours and adventures in Australia.

WHAT HAPPENS  WHEN I ARRIVE?

Upon arrival at your chosen start destination for your Oz Experience pass, you choose when you want to move onto the next destination on your route. Equally, if that destination doesn’t appeal to you, you can travel straight through to the next place. The choice is yours. You are advised to book the next leg of your journey at least 3 days in advance (longer in busier periods) to ensure a seat on the bus of your choice.

WHERE WILL I BE STAYING?

The Oz Experience is all about flexibility. You can choose where you stay and we'll do our best to get you there.

You can typically expect to be paying around US$17 per night for a dorm. These tend to be the better known backpacker hostels, which are popular with travellers, and are reliable and clean, so you’re sure to have an enjoyable nights rest!

WHAT WILL I BE EATING?

The Oz Experience doesn’t include food so you’ll have the freedom to decide where and what to eat! The bus passes are self catered, meaning you and your travel mates will be able to try out the diverse selection of delicious Australian dishes on offer. It’ll also be a great time to bond with new friends and recall your awesome travel experiences to date! There will be several restaurants along your route to eat in, or occasionally the opportunity to shop in local supermarkets and cook for yourself, or why not try your hand at a traditional Australian beach BBQ?

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

It doesn’t matter which bus pass you choose, there are plenty of exciting opportunities included or exciting activities on offer at the destinations you opt to stop at during your adventure through Australia.

Take time out to get to know some of this amazing country's wildlife. The diving and snorkelling off the nearby beaches is absolutely spectacular and you may even see pods of dolphins, seals or perhaps whales if you spend time on the coast. However, if you fancy something more adventurous then there are plenty of adventure activities and water-based sports to get involved in at reasonable prices. Water sports available include water skiing, windsurfing, surfing, body boarding and more. Try a bungee jump for a full blown adrenaline rush, or mountain biking for a great way to take in the staggering landscapes. Venture into nearby towns with your new friends for a taste of the raucous Australian nightlife; the bars and clubs are sure to be jam packed!
