Internships, both in London at Frontier's HQ and abroad on our projects, are one of the most important cogs in the Frontier machine. We offer placements in Journalism and Media, Project Development, Research, Diving, Teaching and everything in between. The environment, and in particular how it interacts with local communities, has interested me for as long as I can remember. Having been brought up in many countries, namely Denmark, Belgium and Uganda, I was exposed to varying ecosystems, and breath-taking landscapes and wildlife. In particular, during my 8 years in Uganda, my passion for the environment flourished.

Being the son of free-spirited parents it was always going to be the case that I would grow up with a desire to travel and see the world. My travels have taken me far and wide, from the bustling souks of Marrakech and chaos of Times Square to the total bliss of Slovenia’s rolling countryside.

Since I was young I travelled to many countries in and outside of Europe including Kenya, The Gambia Australia and Madagascar. I have always had an interest in conservation, ecology and travel and in the past few years my passion to conserve the natural world has grown.
