Voices for the Future is the chance for 16-18 year old students to gain valuable experience in journalism and blogging. The opportunity allows students to build their C.V experience, contribute to an award-winning blog and write about their topics of interest.
Regular contributors will be entered into three categories relating to the topics they've been writing about. From each category, one Frontier Young Blogger of the Year will be awarded. Students are given the chance to write about:
This provides a great opportunity for students with an interest in environmental conservation, human interest journalism or volunteer travel to get a taste for what a career working in media and journalism is like. Working to dealines and specific guidelines is crucial for being a journalist and with Voices for the Future these skills can become second nature.
The boost to your C.V is hugely valuable as the industry is fiercely competitive so gaining as much experience as possible can make the difference in job and university applications.
Students can contribute as many or as few articles as they'd like but only the very best will be selected as the Frontier Young Blogger of the Year from each category.
The blog that our Voices for the Future writers will be working for is award-winning and highly regarded and prestigious within the sector. Experience working on such a platform is a huge boost to your C.V.
