Gap Year Trips

Gap year trips are a great way to gain new skills and experiences whilst travelling the world. You can go on an adventure trail and travel around the world with like-minded people, combining volunteering with back-packing. Volunteering whilst on a gap year trip will also help you to give back to the communities you visit and help work towards sustainable solutions.

Frontier's gap year trips

Frontier runs gap year trips in over 60 destinations and boasts 30 years of experience in running projects. Whether you want to swim in the turquoise Caribbean Sea or help teach English in developing countries, we have you covered! We offer opportunities to help local communities through healthcare volunteering, childcare volunteering and teaching. Through our teaching opportunities you can also gain a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification. We also run a lot of exciting wildlife conservation programs, whether your interests lie with terrestrial wildlife or marine wildlife. You can study primate behaviour in Costa Rica, or shark populations in Fiji! You can combine different projects and different countries if you can’t choose one specific placement or want to experience both community and wildlife projects. On a gap year trip with Frontier you can expect to be around like minded people who share your passions, and to be trained in your chosen area by experienced and friendly staff.

Why go on a gap year trip with Frontier?

A gap year trip can be extremely valuable on your CV, and opportunities can always be tailored to your university studies.
