We have been running highly prestigious expeditions since 1989 for people and companies interested in exploring tropical developing countries and contributing to threatened species conservation. Health and safety is our top priority and extensive risk assessments are conducted prior to setting up each camp.
Our staff are recruited in the UK, but will have worked in the country of your expedition for a minimum of 12 months, so your permanent staff team will have plenty of experience. Your staff will have daily radio, satellite and mobile phone contact with our in-country office, which in turn
will report to our London office. We also have established links with local doctors, hospitals, and emergency evacuation teams.
Your group will receive extensive health and safety briefings before departure and on arrival in-country, with on-going reinforcement
throughout the expedition. You will have an exciting and challenging experience with complete peace of mind.
We usually take groups of 10 to 25 employees but there is no minimum group size. Participants must be fit and healthy.
Tailor-made expeditions for educational institutions will be quoted on an individual basis, depending on itinerary and activities, but as a guide two weeks start at £1,000, and three weeks start at £1,350 per employee. To complete the BTEC, four weeks are necessary, with prices on application.
The Expedition contribution covers presentations to interested students and parents; comprehensive pre-departure preparation and support including fundraising, medical and travel advice, full documentation, visas and airfare negotiation; UK Training weekend; all in-country costs: 24hr UK and Country HQ support, airport collection, transfers, food, accommodation, group expedition equipment, field & scientific training
and activities, management and scientific staff. It also includes dive training to PADI OW if required and full associated PADI documentation
& PIC cards. It excludes student airfares and insurance.
