About Into the Wild

Frontier is an international non-profit volunteering NGO, with over 400 conservation, community and adventure projects in over 70 countries that give people the chance to make their travel meaningful.

This is where Into the Wild steps in. Our blog aims to provide worldly-minded readers with articles, interviews and media on conservation and environment issues, community work and gapyear, holiday and adventure travel. Into the Wild also speaks to influential people in a vairety of fields who have connections, experience or work in areas that are connected with world travel or the environment.

This is also an important platform for others to have their say. Into the Wild publishes weekly volunteer interviews, guest blogs and Voices for the Future contributions, the young and talented group of writers who produce articles, build their CV and gain valuable experience in journalism.

Into the Wild isn’t just a blog for Frontier volunteers to read about our industry leading science projects or gain more information about a particular country. It’s a hub of travel, environment and conservation content that is designed to inform, entertain, please and engage our readers in the hope that they too will want to contribute not just as a volunteer or a journalist but simply as someone who cares about the planet.

If you want to become a contributer to Into the Wild, please get in touch with us through press@frontier.ac.uk.
